Main parking on Wilderness; additional parking on Yanegwa Path and Yanoo Trace. You can always park at Wildcat Recreation Area, then take the Meadows Connector.

Bird sanctuary is one of the functions of this park. Tree groves interspersed with open wildflower fields provide habitat and food for a large number of bird species. This park is very people-friendly too, with its broad, easy trails, and a dog park for our canine companions.

Many wildflowers that change with the seasons. Wetlands and streams are home to plants, amphibians and fish. After it crosses Yanegwa Path the trail turns into a woodland foot trail along a stream that has eroded the soil away from the roots of the trees leaving them standing on "fingers" along the stream edge.

Paths are mostly crushed gravel and easy, totaling 1.7 miles not counting the Connector. The Connector is paved, has some steep sections, is a half mile long and takes you to the Wildcat Recreation Area.
